Transactis Wins Inaugural AFP Payments Hub Challenge
October 25, 2017
This year, the Association of Financial Professionals (AFP) held its annual conference in San Diego, CA and introduced its Payments Hub Challenge. The Challenge was created to identify the various approaches to solving an issue facing many businesses – namely, the high cost of the paper payments chain. The task assigned was to make the business case for a fictitious corporation to move away from using paper checks to a less costly and more efficient process.
Transactis’ proposed solution focused on what it does best – a comprehensive and scalable electronic billing and payment solution, like BillerIQ! It included features and functionality that improve business operations, such as mobile responsiveness, payer messaging, invoice presentment and history, recurring payments, and accepting multiple payment methods (WEB, IVR, etc.) and payment types (ACH, cards). Transactis proposed that the company partner with a vendor that provides a full suite of sales, marketing, and technical support.
Transactis was selected as a finalist. Vice President of Relationship Management, Kari Rolph, presented alongside representatives from CSI globalVCard, Moneris, SwapsTech and Rimilia. The audience, made up of corporate and business practitioners, were the judges and after they voted, Transactis was selected as the winner!
Winning the AFP Payments Hub Challenge Award is a true honor for Transactis and represents how its innovative solution, BillerIQ, helps practitioners revolutionize their businesses. Transactis adds this award to its growing list of accomplishments, including the Inc. 500 Award, Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Award, AlwaysOn OnFinance Top 100 Award, Red Herring Top 100 Award, ‘Cool Vendor’ by Gartner and PYMNTS Innovation Award.
